Amazed by the creativity and talent of these artists, on conversing more with them, I came to know that despite them working during wedding seasons as Mehendi artists, they were never earning enough money to support themselves or their families. I realised that artists, mostly women, are extremely talented but never got the right value for their art. It also struck me that traditional art forms are losing relevance in modern times. Using this knowledge, I built a partnership with these women artists and provided them with a platform to connect with the global market and realise the true worth of their art, and that is how Aureate was born.”
